Richard Mark, President & CEO, Director
Rick Mark has over 19 years experience in the public market place. His leadership positions in various organizations over the last 30 years provide the company with experience in developing short and long term corporate goals, securing financings, creating effective communication platforms and managing regulatory functions. Mr. Mark is also currently CEO and Chairman of Harvest Gold Corp. and VMS Ventures Inc.
Don Whalen is the Executive Chairman of High River Gold Mines Ltd., a position he has held since 1992. Mr. Whalen is a Director of a number of mining companies. He is also Chairman of the Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA), and Co-Chair of the Canada Russia Business Council, non-profit organizations aimed at increasing business trade and investment between Canada and Russia. Formerly, he held numerous marketing, technical and management positions during a 30-year career with IBM Canada Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
A professional accountant (C.M.A. - Certified Management Accountant) with over 23 years of experience serving public and private companies. Mr. McMurdie also currently acts as CFO and Secretary for Roscan Minerals Corporation and is Director of Finance for Kwik Kopy Printing Canada Corporation. Mr. McMurdie has acquired valuable experience in several industries including mining, franchising, merchant banking, distribution, real estate and oil and gas. Mr. McMurdie experience includes the leadership and development of a corporation’s accounting and finance functions, strategic planning, restructurings and liaising with shareholders, members of the board of directors, securities regulators and financial institutions.
Dave Mosher is the President and Chief Executive Officer of High River Gold Mines Ltd., a position he has held since 1992. He received his B.Sc. degree in geology from Acadia University, and throughout his 32 year career, has developed extensive experience as a mining executive and geologist working in Australia, Canada, United States, Russia, Asia and Africa. Mr. Mosher was Project Manager of Pancontinental Mining Limited, where he led the team that discovered the world’s largest uranium deposit, Jabiluka, in the Northern Territory of Australia. Over the past decade, he has been active in the restructuring and refinancing of a number of public and private junior resource companies, and currently serves as a Director of several mining and exploration companies.
Geoff Eupene is a Darwin-based geologist with over 30 years of uranium exploration experience. Mr. Eupene spent the 1969 field season, his first after graduation from the University of Queensland, looking for uranium in the East Kimberley. In 1970 he joined Geopeko as they began their field work at Ranger. As Mine Geologist, he logged every hole drilled into the Ranger No1 orebody, interpreted the geology, and developed a resource estimate that agreed closely with the total material mined over the following decades. In 1976, he headed the team that discovered the Ranger 68 deposit beneath the Magela floodplains. Mr. Eupene worked for Geopeko for over ten years before founding a consulting practice in Darwin in 1980. Since then, Mr. Eupene has advised numerous uranium exploration companies, and he brings a wealth of uranium knowledge to Pancon.
Peter Walker is a Darwin-based lawyer who has practiced in the resource industry for over 30 years. He has significant experience with land access issues including the special situations that exist in the Northern Territory of Australia. Mr. Walker acted for Peko EZ (a joint venture between Peko-Wallsend Operations Limited and Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australasia Limited) on permitting matters for the Ranger project, and for Pancontinental Mining Limited. He also assisted Uranerz Energy Corporation and Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation (PNC), and other explorers and miners, with Northern Territory access and development matters. Mr. Walker is a Director of several mining companies.
